Brand Name: Foswiki

After various deliberations, the name "Foswiki" was chosen for the project. Foswiki is a shortened form of "Free and Open Source Wiki" and represents one of the key precepts of the Foswiki project: to develop an enterprise collaboration tool that remains freely available and can be modified by anyone for further use.
