RuiProcopio Would Like to Check-in

Who am I?

Currently i work as a project manager in a Portuguese SW company in Aerospace projects (you can have a look on my profile in linkedin http://www.linkedin.com/in/ruiprocopio). I'm still learning a lot about project management, and enjoy it more and more. I enjoy cinema (you have to see "Distric 9", it's a must), nice dinner parties at my house with friends, and i'm getting fatter and fatter ever since i stopped practicing my Kung fu.

What do I want?

What can I do?

Well, i just voted to JQuery as my favorite plugin, and now i'm suppose to help, mainly with documentation.... i just had an interesting chat with Michael Daum (irc) and he gave me some hints on how i could start... so here i am!

Why do I want to do it?

For several reasons: 1- Communities have always fascinate me... i really don't understand how any success is it possible in an environment such as communities. Yet successful examples are everywhere ... so i decided to join a community and understand better how it works.

2- i know Foswiki for a while now (at least since 2006, ... it was only TWiki then). I have used it in the past, with "average" success including in my job (then as a Team Leader). I recognize in Foswiki a great potential to be used in many different applications/frameworks ... and i do have a few ideas

3- i have migrated from TWiki to Foswiki, and i decided that it was also time to give my support to this community.
