Is this still the case? A quick test on my mod_perl enabled install seems to be working all right. Is there a known tell-tale I could try to verify one way or the other?

I've been running this plug-in for like 4 years on Apache using mod_perl. Never noticed any problem but I never specifically look for any either. I vaguely remember considering mode_perl issues when I first started getting involved with that plug-in in 2006 but I can't see anything about that in the release logs. I think we should close this item unless it is supported by the output of a code review or an actual runtime issue.
