I performed the following steps on the Foswiki web site:

I have followed the same steps on other pages, but instead of selecting "Save and Continue", I chose "Save". The same behaviour occurred (though in those cases, I believe the form data was not erased).

The edit in question occurred from version 1 and 2. I had been leaving the page unchanged for someone to look at, but have since made an edit which seems to have reattached the form. I subsequently re-entered various form fields.

Update: November 18, 2008

Whereas previously I could use Preview and then back in my browser to go back to editing, now I am losing my changes the second time I go back. Ideally the "Edit" button and others would work from the Preview screen, and I would be able to go back using the browser control and edit again. However, when both do not work, it is much harder to edit topics.

Update: November 21, 2008

"Save" and "Save and Continue" on the Preview page appear to function. "Edit" does not keep your changes. Using the back button in the browser for the second time also still fails to preserve the changes.

Fixed.
