There should be a language option (eg, "None") that escapes HTML magic (eg, '<'),
but does no highlighting or reformatting (eg, indentation).
This would be useful for cases where languages aren't supported (yet)
and/or multiple languages are present
(eg, templating via Embedded Ruby or Mustache, HTML with CSS and JS inclusions).
