Trunk CommentPlugin has interoperation issue with WorkflowPlugin

Extensions/Testing.CommentPlugin has been updated with the trunk version 2.0.1. This has a fix to better identify any errors if the save throws an error. There was a condition where save errors could be masked. Please try to recreate the WorkFlowPlugin? interaction issue with this new release of CommentPlugin.

2.0.1 also adds a Checker that will warn if AuthScripts? is inconsistent with the GuestCanComment? setting.

My environement:

• debian 5, perl 5.10.1, apache2, cgi
• foswiki 1.1.4, new CommentPlugin 2.0.1 (from testing/trunk, error occurs also with 2.0.0), WorkFlowPlugin? 1.12.4

The error:

• comment is silently not saved if topic is under workflow control

test case:

• install new CommentPlugin and WorkFlowPlugin?
• create topics from http://pastebin.com/rCfS2TpJ (adjust user )

Testing with CommentPlugin 2.0.1 gives the same error.

On IRC I heard some speculation that this might be "cache" related - at risk of being irrelevant, I just thought I'd try to be helpful and point to Item11452, I've fixed core so that if you call $topicObj->finish(), it will be removed from any SEARCH MetaCache.

This is fixed in two ways; in future releases by the fix to Item11461, and in older releases by the associated adjustments to the WorkflowPlugin.

I tested succesfully with WorkflowPlugin 1.12.5 (rev. 13783)
