Accessing Group Members

I would like to get the list of people in a group. I came up with this code which needs to be improved or I need to have other, more elegant ways of doing it.

Members of Group Sandbox.SomeTestGROUP are:

actually - VarGROUPS was intended to be extended to support a format param - again, because topic base group definitions are not the only gorups

we used to use SEARCH, but its very unreliable, and not capable of expanding groups that are defined using other groups.
