Installation - Windows XP with Lotus Notes

I'm testing using foswiki for a relatively small group using Windows XP and our mail server is Lotus notes. I have the site up but I have email disabled. I seem to be hung trying to create user ids since I have email disabled. Is there a way to work with foswiki without email or is there any information about using foswiki with Lotus Notes?

yup - there's a enable email tickbox in configure - you can turn if off - but its probly going to be more useful for you to find out the SMTP server's address (probably the address of your lotuc notes server) and to put it into the SMTPSERVER setting in configure (don't forget to also set the admin email address)
