Add custom buttons to the toolbar

It would be really useful, if it is possible to extend the buttons in the Nat Editor Toolbar. My Idea is to provide buttons für and %ACTION{}%%ENDACTION% Tags, as these macros are difficult to remember for our users. One Idea to solve this might be an additional JavaScript which uses a predefined NatEditor API call.
