This question about Configuration, Using an extension: Answered
Installed and Enable plugin but fails to do anything
I downloaded and installed
GluePlugin via the interface in /bin/configure and then checked the enable box for it. After that I added
GluePlugin to the beginning of the
PluginsOrder list followed by a comma and no whitespace. After that, I looked through the
GluePlugin topic, but not of the examples were working. I then copied some examples out of it into a Sandbox topic, but nothing worked. I tried moving
GluePlugin after
TWikiCompatibilityPlugin in the
PluginsOrder list as it was generating a warning, but no effect. One of the examples that didn't work is Apples ~~~ and Oranges.

This was investigated on IRC and found that the site was running mod_perl. Reloading Apache picked up the new configuration and the plugin worked fine.
