Item9608: on trunk.foswiki.org only - templatelogin broken when using IE (8) - and login screen looks awful

on chrome it works, but on IE8 I get a URL that is over-escaped

which suggests that we've added a level too many encodes :/

Probably irrelevant, but I had a similar problem on my on site where there was a dodgy apache rewrite that I forgot to have a [NE] on.

I cannot reproduce this.

I have tried trunk with IE8. I can login via login button, via Edit and via Edit Wikitext.

If Sven is using the new alternative rewrite stuff that is in the experimental apache config then it is the config that is the problem. But Sven did not indicate this. I use the traditional and well working alias method.

Sven we need to know how to reproduce this.

I am getting this issue consistently with http://trunk.foswiki.org - not on my own site..

When I try with IE8 on trunk.foswiki.org I can login but the login window looks awful and the cursor is not on top of the input fields.

It seems trunk is not updating correctly.

So not a release blocker for 1.1.0 beta. But someone needs to find out why trunk.foswiki.org is not updating.
