It would be great if TMCE automatically started up in WYSIWYG or plaintext mode, depending on the mode you were last working in.

Thoughts:

• It would be great to fetch original raw text instead of html2tml roundtrip if starting straight up into raw mode.
• It would be great to fetch original raw text instead of html2tml roundtrip when switchToRaw from WYSIWYG mode happens on a fresh unused editor instance (TMCE marked as not dirty).
  • NB: IIRC switching to/from wysiwyg/raw clears the dirty flag, so it can't be relied upon to indicate whether the content has been changed.

Default startup mode (if not remembered in cookies) should be configurable via user prefs.
