Some quick notes of what i did to make foswiki.org run the new skin, before i head off to bed:

viewsidebar now does WebLinks and other include stuff, no WebLeftBar

Localsite.cfg:

* did set PermittedRedirectHostUrls?

* Main web
  • copied over user topics
    • left out twiki-specific topics
  • copied pub
  • sed -i.bak 's/%25TWIKIWEB%25.UserForm/%25SYSTEMWEB%25.UserForm/g' *.txt
  • checked WebPreferences, no edits needed
  • Changed lots of cron stuff
  • not done:
    • update YourAccount
    • fix WebLinks to contain all tools
    • copy default web topics from foswiki default web to existing webs
    • remove twiki default web topics from existing webs
    • kino

On the WebChangesForAllWebs page, the visible area width must be ~1100 pixels with my browser setup (Firefox 2, 3 on Windows) for the whole table to be visible. If possible, could the horizontal scroll bar that used to appear be restored in situations such as these?

I have created the MANIFEST file. However not all image files are in the pub dir. The header blue is missing for example.

Attached header graphics without embedded icc profiles (adobergb). Gets rid of the purple header effect in Safari.

Still a problem with the left png. I think I messed up for Safari users. How do I remove a icc profile? Done.

This needs to be renamed. 'foskin' contains 'skin' which is not a good idea. It leads to a topic template FoskinSkinMainNavigationTemplate.

Also this is a skin, so it should not be named '...Contrib'. I propose: FoswikiSiteSkin.
