I can live with the (clumsy, imho) bullet syntax for bullets. If I accidentally type 4 spaces instead of 3, I see the result immediately and fix it.

But, when I'm setting a variable, I may not notce that I didn't, actually, set the variable! Meanwhile, I'm always having to wrap my variable settings in HTML comments.

I'd love something like

%SET{"VAR=value"}%

While we're at it, I'd like to add the user's Groups topics to the setting of variables -

So I guess we should make a Codev Topic to get the ideas discussed

The SetVariablePlugin will solve this.

%SETVAR{"SOMEVAR" value="the value"}%

Setting to No Action required - as it's implemented in a plugin
