Creating a new topic only shows:

Title:

Free form topic title text. The actual topic name will be derived from the title automatically. You can specify a different topic name in the advanced options below.

Submit | Cancel

How can I get the other input fields visible - like select a template etc. ? Or how can I debug this? I don't see any errors in the foswiki and apache logs.

If a take WebCreateNewTopicTemplate.txt instead of NatSkinWebCreateNewTopicTemplate.txt

I think I know what really causes the problem. It is not related to NatSkinWebCreateNewTopicTemplate.txt. The "Show advanced options" is not visible. In fact, TwistyPlugin is broken in on my foswiki installation. I have to investigate further...

I did a fresh foswiki (1.0.7) installation. Add natskin plugins and enabled it. TwistyPlugin works. Afterwards I Set SKIN=nat and TwistyPlugin is broken. Can somebody confirm that?

ok. Here is the solution (I hope). JQueryLibPlugin was missing. Installing JQueryLibPlugin and TwistyPlugin works with natskin. I think JQueryLibPlugin should be added as dependence for natskin? (or JQueryPlugin?)

Ah no. All other JQueryXXXPlugin extensions have been merged into JQueryPlugin and are deprecated now. In fact, they even conflict with each other. The problem is that the current TwistyPlugin does not work with the JQueryPlugin being in "noconflict" mode. I am recasting this bug item to TwistyPlugin.

The quick-fix for you is to go to configure and disable the default =noconflict mode. The next JQueryPlugin will have this disabled by default. This flag is only needed if you install more than one javascript framework that each reuse the $ global variable.

I have now disabled again JQueryLibPlugin and I have also disable the default noconflict mode of JQueryPlugin. - TwistyPlugin is working now. - Thanks!

Next action is to make TwistyPlugin work with noconflict switched on.

Several updates happened to TwistyPlugin. This may be solved. After a nearly a year and releaae of 1.1 it cannot be a Twisty problem. I reassign this back to NatSkin which is still not working for Foswiki 1.1.

Close the bug if it is resolved in new NatSkin.
