Item1235: ActivePerl on Windows 2003 IIS 6.0 ISAPI

Low Closed Engine   Main.ChristophEigenseder
Im running/testing Foswiki on Windows 2003 SP2 with Active Perl 5.8.8. The setup was painfull but it fully works. Currently the engine runs with the standard perl.exe. It runs, but the performance is poor.

The next step was to use the the perlis.dll ISAPI or the perlex30.dll ISAPI. perlis.dll failed but i successfully run the view.pl with perlex30.dll. With perlex30.dll the page is rendered 4x faster than using perl.exe

Unfortunately all other actions(edit, attach, history, ...) dont work. In the browser i get a Script failed to send data message and an 500 Script Error.

I know that my setup i not the recommended envirmoment to run Foswiki but i have no choice. Maybe there is someone out there who has tips what i can do, or ther is a bugfix (dont know, is it a bug?)

in any case, please check out FoswikiOnWindowsIISAndPerl and see if that is helpful.
