I think, it is absolutely worth while to search for some nice pictures, that reflect the content and add them to our wiki pages. See an example here: HowYouCanHelp (I am talking of the picture for "job openings").

Thanks to CarloSchulz for this initiative. Who can carry on?

Please be aware of copyright issues. We may only use free pictures. Some stock photo pages require 1 US-Dollar per picture. If you collect those I will buy them for NextWiki. Just nudge me for it.

I would wait for our brand first. -- ArthurClemens - 08 Nov 2008 - 14:39

We can search for creative commons pictures at flickr too (e.g. http://www.flickr.com/search/?z=t&ss=0&ct=0&q=wiki). -- MartinSeibert - 10 Nov 2008 - 23:06

That is still a good idea, that we should pick up sometime. -- MartinSeibert - 31 Jan 2009

Examples of free pictures, that we can use

More are here, here and here.

Not sure what "nice pictures" means. Just adding fluffy pictures does not help. Also note that we removed the picture at HowYouCanHelp.
