RedDotPlugin 3.0 is a huge step up from what we were using, however I have a couple of issues:

1. It would be nice if you could control the defaults from Preferences. We are going to turn the default animate to off for example, since our users expect the edit link to be there.

2. With position:absolute the icons end up in a goofy place. Changing to position:relative fixes the issue (though I think it messes up animation as it puts the gap for the icon when it is not displayed).

3. It would be great if the documentation mentioned the features.

I may have some spare cycles to do the updates if they are ok.
