appears to lose the | when not logged in as admin / or SvenDowideit.
This is not helpful, but I don't really know for sure if its a big bug, or just a pain.

It depends on the setting of $Foswiki::cfg{AntiSpam}{HideUserDetails} whether USERINFO is expanded or not. By default, user details are hidden.
Not a bug.
