Foswiki::META depends on the context var {can_render_meta} which isn't set in a rest handler. This is a shitty hack that hangs over from Func, because the right meta object isn't available in tag processors.
Either the context var has to be set in rest handlers, or the shitty hack has to be cleaned up.
