I tried out PublishPlugin with foswiki-1.0.0. I think there is small bug in PublishWeb? :
The string "SCRPTURLPATH" doesn't occur anywhere in the PublishPlugin sources. Or did you mean that the
- the button at the end of the page has %SCRPTURLPATH%/publish ... I think it should be %SCRPTURLPATH%/rest/PublishPlugin/publish? ...
