After editing any topic the system shows following message:

During save of Wissen.Vorlagen an error was found by the version control system. Please notify your Foswiki administrator.

VC::Handler: failed to create file C:/PROGRA~1/Foswiki/Foswiki/data/Wissen/.changes: Permission denied

After reloading the topic "Vorlagen" all changes are included, so the system is working, but the message is annoying.

Installation on Windows 2000, with Apache, Strawberry

This problem will stop WebChanges from working correctly.

Can you try to create an empty =.changes= file manually?

I'm afraid I don't know much about Foswiki on windows, but I've heard that using ={Store}{Implementation} = 'RcsLite'= (in configure) instead of =RcsWrap= is best, but I don't think this will help here.

What version of Strawberry perl are you using?

Configure shows Perl 5.010, and RcsLite ist allready activated. The only Error shown in Configure is the missin "HTML::TREE" module.

But I think I found the problem. I deleted the existing .changes file and now it works
