statistics script fail to update WebStatistics

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a problem.

I put ALLOWWEBCHANGE & ALLOWWEBRENAME in my WebPreferences

• Set ALLOWWEBCHANGE = AdminGroup
• Set ALLOWWEBRENAME = AdminGroup

Then, I got the following error while running statistics script as root:

• ./statistics -logdate 200901 -webs System
• sudo -u apache ./statistics -logdate 200901 -webs System

* Reporting on System web   - view: 190, save: 5, upload: 1   - top view:  26 WebHome   - top contributor:   6 Main.AdminUser   - ERROR: no permission to CHANGE statistics topic in System 

But the ERROR disappeared after I remove the ALLOWWEBCHANGE setting.

My Foswiki 1.0.0 is installed on apache/Linux with user apache.

Any suggestion?

The statistic topic will always be written as WikiGuest (see the bold note on SiteTools#WebStatistics_site_statistics).

Unless you want to add WikiGuest to your AdminGroup, its not possible to do what you want.
