---++ Foswiki On Windows Installer

I have built a windows installer that installs and configures Apache and Strawberry Perl and Foswiki, resulting in a fully functioning Foswiki on Windows.

I had two problems using this installer on Windows 7 64-bit.

1) Logging seems to go into the /bin/ directory, which the configure script doesn't like:

{ScriptDir} required<input value="PATH" name="TYPEOF:{ScriptDir}" type="hidden"></input><input value="C:/PROGRA~2/Foswiki/Foswiki/bin" name="{ScriptDir}" type="text" size="70"></input> [[http://kataan/foswiki/bin/configure#][use default]]

<strong>Warning: </strong>log201102.txt appears to have a suffix (.txt), no script suffix is configured - please check it.

even though it set in LocalSite.cfg appropriately:

$Foswiki::cfg{Log}{Dir} = 'C:/PROGRA~2/Foswiki/Foswiki/working/logs';

2) In configure, in the Web Server Environment, perl seems to be missing:

HTML::Tree

said to be needed for:

I installed Foswiki 1.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and found the same side effects as did JohnKern
