this image is from my computer - found out how to upload image first then when inserting image go to image list instead of pasting in an url.

successful attempt except I do not ahve the option to require a new tab to be opened and it opens in the browser. the doc was a picture. I will also attempt to attach a word file and see if it opens differently. The word file opens in word. this is good.

copying from word - my wiki proposal notes - copy successful, some formatting came thru such as bolding and underline. color, highlight and font size did not.

Nice wiswyg editor, spell check included from mods. Not too many prestigious orgs using. Several ways to search, find tab offering advanced searching, type in for text or title searching. Nice but doku is much friendlier.

Typing in My First Paragraph

A short explanation

This is Lori's testing ground. I will be trying different things. For example, I will be doing some straight typing, like here, but I will also want to try copying and pasting from word. why? well, autocorrects is one, I'm not used to typing in my own caps anymore, also, the spelling feature, which I do not beleive the edit feature has.

I also want to see how a calendar works, if I can figure out how to put one in. The mod may not work on the Foswiki website, though I know that a mod exists. It will be interesting to see if fonts I use in word (ie. Garamond) will transfer, because I noticed that FosWiki, and most other wikis' out there use a san serif font, and do not have options to change them. this is sad because san serif fonts do not flow the way serif does.
