Example 1: From the contents of a table

Capturing the contents of a table as comma delimited text in a text box which may be easily cut and pasted to (for example) Excel. Uses the %EXTRACT{...}% function of the FilterPlugin.

Whilst of some use in and of itself this type of thing may help to explain to non-wiki users how easy it is to extract data from the wiki without getting into wider and possibly intimidating discussions on data mining, use of .xml files etc. It will allow a prospective client to quickly put a mental tick in the 'data extraction' box and provide a bridge from unfamilar wiki territory to more familar Excel territory. -- SimonLatham - 24 Apr 2009
