About VW

The Volkswagen Group, with its headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany, is the third-largest automobile manufacturer in the world and the largest carmaker in Europe. The Group is made up of eight brands from six European countries: Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. VW has many applications to support the business. Many of them are old, and pleading to be changed. Some had been attempted to be changed but was never moved out of production, as IT / business were either not ready for a change, or the new systems were not “complete” with all the needs to address business. VW project involves development activities like design, analysis, reviews, coding, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, performance improvement, deployment, user acceptance testing and go live in production.
