ModPerlEngineContrib and SL-5 / RHEL-5

The dependencies Apache2::Request defined in ModPerlEngineContrib can found in fedora-epel and they are called
  • perl-libapreq2-2.09-0.rc2.1.el5.i386.rpm
  • libapreq2-2.09-0.rc2.1.el5.i386.rpm
Do not be confused mod_perl in apache-2.x is mod_perl2. The CGI is the right on in SL-5.

You can controll with macro %ENV{MOD_PERL}% - not set - to see when mod_perl is loaded. ('not set' means it is not loaded - in the other way you will see a string like 'mod_perl/2.0.4' )
