UserExperienceProjectDialogDrivenUI

This project does not yet follow the guidelines as laid out in UserExperienceTaskTeamProjects. Please help improve this page.

Summary

Instead of reloading ( flashing ) the whole page on every click or better "action", I want to add dialogs which just fade-out the current page, giving the user the needed information/actions in a dialog. He can close/confirm/act in this dialog. When closing it, he is just at the same point he was before. We are using the same thing with redirect after login, but this is far more intuitive. So here the brainstorming where I think this could be useful:
  • Attachment
  • Renaming
  • Tools

This functionality should be added as "sub-skin" to nat. So i wont create a new skin, i will include nat templates add replace/add buttons i need. So people who don't like this, can just turn it off by choosing other sub-skins or whatever
  • in the end, this work should get put before nat in the skin path, and defined as an over-ride for default skin. That way this work will be applicable for all skins.

Discussion

Is this related to RelayAlertsToTopicTop?

Actually it goes in the same direction. But i am not primarily going for the "server answers" or message-dialogs. Primarily I go for actions in dialogs.

What would be the difference?
